    This one seemed to wind up quick if they started investigating in May. They have been on Bill's a lot longer than that, when will it happen????????

    The situation with Smith is much more involved and complicated than with the other crooked sheriffs. You have all the Cisco/Dirkes/Cumberland/S.C. labor, etc. It is not just a youthful indiscretion. It is major criminal activity. It is years of crooked activity with many crooks.
    The Feds have put a target on these crooked sheriffs and Smith will be the poster boy for corruption. Also, I would be sweating some big bullets if I was some of the deputies who were part and parcel to the crooked activity.

Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
