I know times are tight mone wise, but how much will it cost smpd& kpd driving to woodbine?why not try to split the money there. in other words it will end up costing the citys more and would be no savings to us taxpayers. sp
For years after 911 was created in Camden County and the Center was built, Both of them, 1st the initial which was at the Fire Station on Gross Rd, and then the 2nd, at the Sheriff's Sub-Station, the Sheriff's Office has maintained a "Radio Room in the Sheriff's Office for a Hurricaine Backup" So my question is; if you lose the primary communication center and secondary communications center which are both in the same building, What then Sheriff? Please use your head for something other than growing hair. I think this is a FCC regulation, or 911 operation regulation you may want to check into? Strange things happen in life. I mean you won the election!!!!!!
Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
This is good, now get the sub station moved and he will see a savings in his budget.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that the day a new jail or an addition to the old one opens in Woodbine, the substation will be a goner.

ReplyDeleteBTW lost: get over it! If a class 5goes far enough inland to destoy the center in Woodbine, we'll be relying on FEMA and the National Guard anyway.
