Woodbine City Council votes to submit Sunday alcohol sales question to a referendum.
Hopefully it will be given strong consideration. It will apply to any qualified food serving establishment. Kingsland and St. Marys learned that most resturants are going to have a bar and it is essential for business. Woodbine is no exception. If it was a big chain outfit there would be smooth sailing. Hope it is the same for a local owned business not run by some out of town corporation. Progess is good. This is progress.
Even more amazing is a city council that can just vote to hold a referendum without having to have 10 public hearings and spend weeks discussing whether to let the voters decide.
Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
