  1. I don't know. I was home and busy supervising a neighborhood kid planting a fine specimen of Bloodgood Japanese maple I was lucky enough to stumble upon at Lowe's late yesterday afternoon. It is now growing happily right outside my office window.

    Anyone else there?

  2. Here's a URl for info on the Bloodgood Japanese maple. Mine even came complete with half-a-dozen seeds on it. I'm going to try to grow them. There were about 4 left at Lowe's yesterday.

  3. Jay, Thanks for getting the word out about Grits N Bits this past Saturday. There was a great turnout for Judge Jennifer Lewis and as always the good food! Our next Grits N Bits will be in July and Doug MacGinnitie will be our guest speaker. Doug is seeking to replace Karen Handel as Secretary of State as Karen is pursuing the Governor's Office. Thanks again and I will update you on the exact date in July.

Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
