Deja view?

I noticed yesterday that there is a Carla Carper (Steve Berry's challenger) billboard on Spur 40 now. Let's see: Incumbent - critic of sheriff. Challenger: blonde female; billboard; photograph. Ring any bells?

    Okay - times up. The bell it should have rung is the fact that it is very similar to the sign that BTW erected for Chuckie Sears when he decided to install her on the county commission. The layout is even the same - photo on the right; text on the left - and the signs are virtually identical in size.

    Think - people: do you really want Bill Smith owning and operating potentially all but ONE commissioner - even if from a jail cell!?

    It is possible that Mrs. Zell will be the only one left who is not a Smith puppet if Carper defeats Berry and Rainer and Rhodes retain their seats.

    KEEPING Berry and defeating Rainer and Rhodes is every bit as important of ridding ourselves of Smith.

Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
