The purpose of this blog is to provide the author, Jay Moreno, with an outlet to comment upon items of socio-political and socio-economic import in Camden County, Georgia and to generally satisfy a daily compulsion to write.

Jay where are you!! Today is the greatest day of all news reporting in Camden and I can't find you.....
"Zoning errors prove costly for county coffers"
This is priceless!! This is the best kept SECRET in Camden County. Loretta Riggins-Hlyton just blew the roof off of the nucleus of all things unfair in Camden County.
Loretta Riggins-Hlyton said: "Someone needs to audit that book and look at it because they are taxing a lot of people on something other than what they're zoned," THIS IS THE GOD HONEST TRUTH!! You would be amazed at people who live in subdivisions and pay less than $500.00 per year in taxes because of the zoning on that one particular house.
If Emily follows this story and ask Chief Appraiser Rick Daniels good follow-up questions afterwards you could probably roll the mileage rate back at least 4 mils in every sector of government in Camden County.
Now that takes the cake. Some law enforcement or judge that has more power than that sheriff, should make him clean up that mess with nothing more than a tablespoon. Then he should have to replace that mobile home out of his own pocket, that ignorant SOB.
I don't know what to tell you, friend. I just now got through clicking on the title to thje post and watching it. Now, granted, there was a blank screen for maybe ten secionds, then it came up. I had toi watch a brief commercial, then it went right into the video of the destroyed mobile home with no problem. Sorry.
Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
can't open this one Jay
ReplyDeleteSorry. It's fixed now.
ReplyDeleteThere has to be more to that story than is being told. If not, that Sheriff needs a good beating.
