My children are grown but when they were in school they never had a reason to see the school nurse...Thank the Lord....But my good friend is up in arms about the thought of no school nurse on duty. Her grandson has asthma and she says the school nurse has been there to help him through an asthma attack many times. Until she brought it up I never thought about just how important a school nurse might be for some families.
