Remember to vote YES tomorrow on ESPLOST!
It's the only issue on the ballot. You should be in and out in 5 minutes or less.
Also remember that if you people succeceed in defeating htis reasonable tax, in the very near future, when the capital improvements and repairs still have to be made, the school board will exercise their constitutional duty to raise your ad valorem taxes to do so. Then, the proof of your having foolishly, in an unreasoning fit of pique, cut off your owns nose to spite your faces will truly hit home as you foks who voted it down are hoisted upon yopur own petards. Unfortunatley, you will have hoisted all of us calmer, more rational heads right along with you. Rather than having everyone in the county - even those passing throough - share the burden, now it will be borne strictly by the property owners. Let's hope the rest of us prevail today and save you folks from your own irrationality.
Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
Sorry Jay, I have to vote NO....
