  1. I wonder if Camden County BOE will do the same. We are paying extra for ESPLOST.

  2. Chatham also has an ESPLOST. The ESPLSOT may only be used to fund capital improvements - not ongoing operating expenses. Those come from property tax assessments.

  3. I know, but I don't think the people can afford a millage rate increase right now. The BOE gets more than their lions share from tax assessments. Before the BOE or any other board considers a millage rate increase they should streamline personnel. They are all currently in an excessive state.

  4. I think it unlikely that they will increase the school millage rate. If they had intentions to dothat,they would not have asked for all of those early retirements and fired 4 teachers.
