    This less than moral idiot is part of what really got Rick started with the open records act, which lead to becoming more aware of the local politics, and presently his blog.

    I guess we have Godley to thank for getting Rick mad enough to get involved! Thank God he's finally off the streets in the capacity of an officer!

    Shame on our Government for allowing a child sexual predator not only walk away (until he hanged himself w/ his own rope), but be allowed to work at such a career.....!! Kudos to Sheriff Gregory for booting this guy!

    Amen...I think that everyone who commented on Topix about Godley are about to get a rude awakening about him.The man is a criminal(of the worst one) and needed to be exposed!! I just can't believe that SMPD would hire him after some of the rumors were out. Thank goodness they got rid of him and I hope he NEVER works in law enforcement ever again!! And..come to think of it Jay, maybe that's what Bill Smith and Charlie Easterling were doing the day before Tommy took office when they were seen burning stuff in the back of the SO, Purging records....Ha Ha Ha

    Jay, I know you have occasion to read Topix. Can you believe this Godley fellow is still spouting off in a lame attempt to lure the readership over to his warped view of his perverted behavior? The idiot still hasn't learned one damn thing. I guess he's lucky that there is no law against stupidity or he would have already received the death penalty.

Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
