Senior U.S. District Judge Anthony A. Alaimo died this morning at Southeast Georgia Health System's Brunswick hospital.
Jay, He was a man of great integrity and a man who overcame a lot of adversity throughout his lifetime. A former POW during WWII, he never lost sight of the big picture and never dwelled on life's trials and tribulations. He was an inspiration and he will be missed. May he RIP.
Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
