It's supposed to be near Waycross. The name popped up on one of the images in the slide show. Google maps doesn't show it.
I'm reminded of my mother buying two lots, sight unseen, in Cape Coral in about 1958 because her friend invited her to a promotional cocktail party. At least, by the time she went to inspect, the land had been drained. She considered that a good thing.
Look at how many developments are listed above. This says we have a problem here in Camden with these developments popping up and never manifesting completely.
Please keep it clean and reasonably civil. "Public figures" are fair game, consistent with the "actual malice" exception. I suggest you Google both terms before you go off half-cocked.
Looks like something called Millwood Plantation. They have a video with scenes of the Brunswick bridge and Jeckyl Island.

Jones from Sea Island did say they had 41 miles of marsh front land to eventually develop.
Looks like the development off Dover Bluff, Santuary Cove. Or it could be Cumberland Harbor.

ReplyDeleteIt is RiverPlace Plantation off of Hwy 17 just south of Spring Bluff Road and across the street from the Church of the Rising Daughter.

The one "Anonymous" is correct. It is Riverplace Plantation on Hwy 17 in Waverly
