Jay Moreno said...: Chatham also has an ESPLOST. The ESPLSOT may only be used to fund capital improvements - not ongoing operating expenses. Those come from property tax assessments.; July 2, 2009 at 5:45 PM
Anonymous said...: I know, but I don't think the people can afford a millage rate increase right now. The BOE gets more than their lions share from tax assessments. Before the BOE or any other board considers a millage rate increase they should streamline personnel. They are all currently in an excessive state.; July 2, 2009 at 9:27 PM
