Jay could you offer any advice on what precedures are best to file a VA Disability claim. I am in the process of filing one and I've been told to go in several different directions. I would appreciate any guidance in this process. Clearly you know what is the best avenues to take. Thanks for any help.
It took almost exactly six months from the time I mailed the application. Maybe a monthy of that was due to my having misplaced my DD-214 and having to obtain a copy.
I heard from the VA about once a month with more questions and a claim status report. Just give them everything they ask for within the time frames they allow - usually 30 days - and be patient.
