Wrong again.

I guess the "harem" could not do the job, so he called in Moreno. What a joke! Since Moreno finally got a college degree at the ripe old age of 62, He thinks anyone who dosen't have one is an idiot. Now he feels equal to Howard and the Harem. He is now on their level and whatever Howard says is the gospel. Moreno is not fit to be a dog catcher. Moreno should never be elected for anything. Why you ask???? He is all for self and will NOT listen to anyone's opinion. So why should he be on any level of government to represent only himself?? Moreno is a goat headed nut and is now an educated goat head. The facts: I'm 61. I earned my Bachelor of General Studies (since renamed "Bachelor of Liberal Studies") degree with a minor in political science from Armstrong Atlantic State University in June of 1997 at the age of 49. What I just completed last week was the AASU post-baccalaureate teacher certification program of studies with state teacher certifications to teach Middle Grades Social Science, Middle Grades Language Arts, and Political Science at the high school level. Trust me - with a tested IQ of 136, I have been at or above the "level" of Mr. Howard, the "harem", and statistically, 98% of the American population, for several decades. Opinions are interesting and, on rare occasions, superior to my well thought out, fact based conclusions - but only very, very rarely. As to my goat-headedness, I can only say that it is in the eyes of the beholder. Now, with an 8 & 7/8th hat size, I do have a much larger head than most. However, irrespective of what animal one likens it to, it has been a highly intelligent and reasonably well educated head for many years now.

The poor devil has it wrong again - twice in one day.

(Sandy Feller) answer, he is a voice, he is an announced candidate for public office. Wrong, and he knows it's wrong. I am not an announced candidate. I am thinking about it. When and if I announce that I am definitely running, then I will be an announced candidate. Mr. Feller knows the election laws as well as I do. He is trying to induce someone to file a complaint with the State Board of Ethics. Smells of desperation to me. This is apparently just another loose cannon shot in what has already become a surpisingly dirty and seemingly deperate last hurrah campaign by Mr. Feller to regain the District 4 County Commission seat and seek vengeance against his pathological nemisis, Steve Berry. Barring out-and-out slander or libel, I'll try to ignore the poor demented soul henceforward as will, I suspect, most of the District 4 electorate.

While I am not a big fan of the Oprahfication of America, I did find this article interesting. I thought y'all might as well. http://www.cnn.com/2009/LIVING/worklife/05/07/o.Oprah.Interviews.Daniel.Pink/index.html

A mind is a terrible thing to lose.

Here is the sum total of my verbal interactions with Steve Berry in the 15.5 years I've lived in St. Marys. Once, years ago, as I was leaving my first county commission meeting, I was heading out of the back door of the old courthouse when Berry came out of the narrow hallway that led to the commissioners' door to the dais in the old meeting room. We suddenly came face to face as he rounded the corner. I said "good evening." He said "Hi" and walked on by. Once, about a year ago, we came face to face at the serving line in Aunt B's. I said "Hi." He replied, "Hey, Jay." That's it in 15.5 years. Last Tueday night, after the meeting, he passed within eight feet of me as I was getting into my van and uttered not a word. "Pals" we are not. I've sent him 1 e-mail asking a question about something before the board. He answered briefly, referring me to someone on staff, as I recall. That's it. That's the sum total of our written interactions in our lifetimes. I have NEVER spoken to him on the phone, communicated by short wave radio, blind drops, carrier pigeons, or smoke signals. Hopefully, this will ease some one's fevered, Berry-obsessed mind, but I doubt it.

Foreign car manufacturers continue to build plants in the south.

http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=7550065 We are located 40 miles north and south of two seaports where automobile import / export makes up the lion's share of the ports' annual tonnages. We sit astride I-95 and 40 miles north of I-10. We have tens of thousands of suitable acres. We have a population of +/- 60,000 with tens of thousands more potential employees in easy commuting distance. We have plans for thousands of new homes by dozens of developers. Can anyone think of any good reason why we would not be a good choice for such a plant - if only we had an aggressive JDA?
