Docs Chicken and Waffles.... Is that the same place you were talking about last week thats located in the new building down from the school? They're going to give that place a alcohol license that close to a school? Things are really changing in St. marys.
Yep, that's it.
You know, when the building permit was applied for, the story was that it was going to be owner Dr. Marvin Jones medical practice downstairs and apartments upstairs. I remember thinking at the time that it was an odd place for a doctor's office and then the garish electronic billboard was even more baffling.
Now it is clear that he never intended to open a medical practice but a bar all along.
Chicken and waffles - on the same plate - washed down with a cold beer or a glass of wine. Yeah, man, that's soul food for sure!(???) Good luck with that.
By the way, when you were in elementary school, were you even aware of the existence of bars, much less aware of and influenced by the one closest to your school?
I'm sure they meet the distance requirement. However, it should be interesting to see if the usual suspects show up tonight at 5:30 to fight demon rum and attempt to increase the take in the collection plate.
