HISTORIC WATERFRONT, ST. MARYS, GA.
And a special thanks to my housekeeper, Sarah, a gal from Scotland, who brought me a delicious, home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner any American cook would have been proud to claim.
I was home recuperating from a killer upper respiratory infection. Thanks to 5 days worth of some new, high powered, broad spectrum antibiotic that goes fpor $25.00 per pill, and that great dinner - complete with homemade chicken soup, I should be 100 by tomorrow.
And that will be none to soon: birthday Saturday; new house closing Monday; last day of semester and final on Tuesday; huge Lowe's delivery and multiple installations Wednesday; fence going up Thursday; sprinkler system going in Friday; moving Saturday. Perhaps a second "thanksgiving" dinner Sunday.
Sorry to hear you have been sick but happy to know you are on the mend. You are a very lucky man to have good friends and employee's that look out for you with a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. Sounds like you have a lot to do this next week and much to be thankful for, know you will be happy to get settled in your new home. Good luck and best wishes and Happy Birthday.
