What they fell to tell prospective apprentices is if you are NOT currently on the vocational track in high school or if your parent does not serve on the selecting committee, you will be wasting your time to apply. If you are black your chances of getting selecting are diminished even more.
The Mayor of Kingsland works for TRF and I know he personally sought to get about 15 kids in the program, to no avail.
As usual, I know you were trying to do a good deed Jay. But I think it is equally important that people know the TRUTH.
Hopefully Mrs. Rachel Baldwin will do something to recruit more diversification into these programs at the high school, so that TRF will not be able to continually use her as the scapegoat in why there is no diversification in the program.
