The purpose of this blog is to provide the author, Jay Moreno, with an outlet to comment upon items of socio-political and socio-economic import in Camden County, Georgia and to generally satisfy a daily compulsion to write.
HISTORIC WATERFRONT, ST. MARYS, GA.
but this is not an endorsement. Why? Well, because I say so. What it actually is is a photo of my eco-friendly, organic, pesticide-free lawn which I maintain as a sanctuary for endangered earthworms and mole crickets.

All of the Hase choices. What a coincidence . I have never seen someone who is not running for office working so hard to win an election. The common denominator with all four is move the airport. Now what could she possibly gave to gain from that happening ? We all want to know.
Well, suppose that unbeknownst to us, she has an agreement to be the exclusive Sea Island sales agent for a fly-in community to be built around the new airport. If that were the case, how would that affect the benefit to the city of having the current airport acreage back on the tax rolls and developed to highest and best use and a new airport at no cost to the city, if it turns out that that can be done?
Don't know how or if it would benefit the city but your explanation of Ms. Hase interest is certainly possible and believable. In fact this is the best reason anyone has given for Ms. Hase' avid drive to relocate. Thanks for the insight.
As you both know, that was a hypothetical. However, your limp, feckless resposnes only serve to confirm my contentrion that it would not diminish the benefits of the deal one iota. For that matter, if Sea Ilsand wants to pay Charlie Smith a one million bonus if the deal goes through, that is their business and also would not diminish the benefits one iota.
We seem to like to deal in what If's in this city . What if the airport moves? What if we get the land back? What if we get to look at it for years like we are doing with the mill site ? What if no one buys it? What if a monkey flew out of my ass?
Who in their right mind actually believes that with the economy like it is that the airport property is going to put taxes back on the tax rolls. Why don't they put all this ill-directed energy toward improving the first impression visitors receive driving into historic St. Marys, the eyesore at Gilman Paper Company? Let's talk about highest and best use of that property before we go off and try and re-invent the wheel.
The cathartic loss of your inner monkey is far more likely than than that prime airport property - with no environmental remaediation concerns and already cleared - not selling asnd being developed to its highest and best use.
You sound like you're high! What did you just say? I'm pretty sure that was an incomplete sentence, not to mention all the mis-spelling. Maybe it's time for your noontime nap.
Hypothetical, my ass!!! You seem to be more tuned in to Ms. Hase than anyone else. Finally, you give us a little insight to her reasons for supporting the airport move. Its your story and you need to stop arguing against yourself.
I have no idea why you are such an adamant Hase supporter. That has been a mystery to all those who know you. She has caused more wasted time on this airport issue than any thing our near bankrupt over taxing City has been involved in. Why in world is this such a big issue with the two of you? A St. Marys Airport out side of St. Marys is just nuts. There are so many more pressing issues and you support the mouth of the south in her constant yapping over this issue. What a waste of time in engery when there are so many more pressing issues. Makes no sense to me. I have heard so many folks asking what is the deal with you and Hase. She is constantly rude, obnoxius, and never ending on the airport issue. We have a Nero fiddling while Rome burns and you applaud her antics.
You are the big word expert and I think you nay be using the wrong one. Misogyny is the hatred of women. What is the hatred of dishonest, scheming people?
The time is only wasted if, unfortunately, the Luddite, future-fearing, parochial locals and their sycophantic, opportunistic, newcomer allies prevail in Tueday's elections.
I don't support Hase carte blanche. For instance, I get on to her about letting her personal religious beliefs interfere with the alcohol licensing process. However, on the airport issue, she is absolutely correct.

If that is the case then she abused her office as Mayor and Councilwoman for personal gain.

Some of you people really need some analysis of your deep-seated misogyny.
I just got up from my nap, thank you.

How about "misogynistic testicular envy?" is that better?

Would someone else like to explain to the TOPIX J.D.S. sufferers who and what I'm spoofing here?
