Product review

Well, I thought seriously about going to the Rock Shrimp festival for lunch, then I remembered that the last time I went to a downtown festival, the closest available disabled parking place suitable for a wheelchair van that was not blocked off was way up in front of the vacant lot where Tonua's Restaurant once sat. Not really feeling like having to rumble blocks in my wheelchair, I decided to eat in. Friday, while shopping at Walmart, I restocked my soups. I'm usually all about Progresso, but Campbell's new line of Campbell's Select soups have had some interesting selections of late. I came across what I believe is a new one: Maryland Style Crab Soup. I had that for lunch. Let me tell you, if you like the taste of blue crab, you'll like this one. If you are looking for chunks of crab, you'll be disappointed. However, the liquid is chock full of short strands of macerated crab meat about the diameter of hair. The label says it also includes "crab juice." Trust me - it has all the crab flavor you could want. It is a tomato-based soup with potatos, carrots, red and green bell peppers, and excellent seasoning. I got the "light" version of it, with only 160 calories in the whole can. Try it. I think you'll really like it.
