I'm told that BTW made much ado about announcing that he had to leave the Wooodbine Woman's Club candidates' forum early to rush down to a triple homicide in Kingsland, the investigation of which apparently required his personal attention.
Anyone have any early details about this alleged triple homicide?

the two male victims were in a "blood drenched," white, 2005, Cadillac Escalade. The victims have been identified, but publication of the names is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
Update; Tuesday, 1012 HRS:
My main mole just checked in on this. Last night, when BTW got the cell phone call on this, he immediately instructed the deputy on scence to take control on behalf of the CCSO, to let KPD know, in no uncertain terms, that this was "his case." Ditto for the GBI.
Now, contrast that with BTW's performance on the last double homicide in the county - the one that caught him in Charleston. Look for a full court press to solve this one before July 15th. I'm guessing that Simper Fido has already submitted press releases to all the usual media outlets - especially the T&G by this afternoon's deadline - detailing BTW's "heroic" and "selfless" dash from Woodbine down to the scene of the crime where he no doubt masterfully took charge of the investigation. There will probably be photographs as well.
Moreover, you can expect the bogus, orchestrated letters of praise for BTW's actions to start showing up in the T&G as early next Wednesday. At least one wil no doubt question why candidate Gregory did not make a big show of jumping up and announcing that he was rushing off to grandstand at the crime scene. Smith and the Thugggies are enough to make a buzzard puke.

Bill had to rush out of there because the suspect was probably a buddy or family member that he needed to cover for.
I have not heard of this crime. But here we are again. If he is in town, then he directs his attention to the news that will involve him. Why didn't he get just as excited and involved in the double slaying at Mush Bluff a month ago? Because he was gone as usual!!! We need a full time sheriff not someone to just use the office and the taxpayers money for their own personal needs. Why didn't he turn this one over to the GBI immediately like the double?? Because he happened to be here. Oh well, I hope there was not a homicide but if there was I can understand the sheriff's position.

A double murder 4 weeks ago at Mush Bluff area. Son shot both parents, called 911 center himself, was waiting on the front steps of the home when deputies arrived, admitted that he had shot them, GBI called in immediately to investigate. Yesterday, Two men found shot it the head on Vacunna road, no suspects, not much to go on, GBI has not been called as of this morning @ 0700 hours. The difference???? Smith was not here in the county (gone most of the time) when the Mush Bluff murders happened, and he instructed the chief deputy to call the GBI and turn the case over to them. He was here this time becuase he had attended a political forum, and now he needs the press time so he will solve this crime without the GBI..GO FIGURE THIS ONE OUT!!!

In short, Bill needs the african-american vote. He has to jump through hoops to get his 5 second photo op, so they (in his mind) will be stupid enough to think that he has their best interest at heart.

Correct on your assertion about Fido getting his press release out early today in time for the T&G deadline. I got mine before 10 am complete with photos of the escalade without bodies and another with the bodies in bags. Fido wrote if the media were to use the one with the bodies, Dale Bundy was to get credit. Pretty nasty stuff and the release even had a quote from the big thug himself.

So much for Bill Smith's supporters praising him for keeping the drug traffic away from Camden County. If that doesn't sound like a drug deal gone bad, don't know what does.

Smith has been to quite a few crime scenes. Jenkins lives on Cumberland. Smith spends lots of time there. Fairley Cisco has an ongoing criminal enterprise and Smith was with Fairley. The Sheriff has certainly been on other crime scenes. The house in S.C. was a crime scene when he was there using inmate labor. The use of inmates to construct the pig farm was the scene of criminal activity.
It is unfair to state that the Sheriff has not been to crime scenes. Hell he creates them. So don't question him being at crime scenes."

OK this is my theory: I think Bill's cleaning house. He might be putting an "end to all lose ends". So my advise to ALL who has done dirty deeds for Billy...watch your back. How many "crack heads" has Bill paid to do a dirty deed for him? The heat is getting hot for Smith and he's getting desperate, so remember, "Dead lips CAN"T sink Willie's ship.

The last poster speaks volumns about BTW. That is another reason Steve Berry should be very cautious of his every move about this county. Bill has said he has something for Berry in the works. I just pray that it is not this serious. However Bill views Berry as his total problem so Bill will not surprise me in any move he makes as to keeping the sheriff's office in his possession. Berry, watch out for the sheriff and his tactics.
This should be the time for Berry to button down the hatch and watch out. I expect any day now for Bill Smith to put out his lies concerning Berry. Bill has already put out that he was gay, liked kiddie porn, had skeletons in his closet, etc. I can assure you that Bill Smith is going to start the propoganda campaign against Berry any day now. After all, Bill has stated that this commissioner's seat is just as important as his bid for re-election. Bill did hand pick Ms. Carper to run against Berry.
