The purpose of this blog is to provide the author, Jay Moreno, with an outlet to comment upon items of socio-political and socio-economic import in Camden County, Georgia and to generally satisfy a daily compulsion to write.
HISTORIC WATERFRONT, ST. MARYS, GA.
Once again, the common people fall prey to the whims of the rich! It is a damn shame that they have so much money, that they are afraid to loose a little because their business has fallen off. The only ones who suffer for it are the people who have been dedicated to serving their needs and wants over the past years while the rich filled their pockets with the fruits of the common people's labor. It's a damn shame!
You people sound like Communists. Isn't big bidness and free enterprise the American way? So what if a few hundred lose their jobs? Dollar Bill Jones ain't losing his inheritance. And if the St. Marys City Council has their way, he'll have a taxpayer funded airport near Woodbine to run into the ground next
Now that they are having financial trouble I hope it slows down the momentum of the airport relocation. I heard that Synovus was the one to pull the plug on Jones.
It really doesn't matter who pulled the plug; and just what is it that sounds communist about all of those people losing their jobs. Just because they have all the money in the world or at least access to, doesn't mean they should dump the little people when the times turn tough. That was my concern comrade!

Sea Island had plans to come to Camden and force the people out, just as they did in Glynn.
LESSON TO BE LEARNED: Be careful of the traps you set for others, you may just fall in yourself.
