The purpose of this blog is to provide the author, Jay Moreno, with an outlet to comment upon items of socio-political and socio-economic import in Camden County, Georgia and to generally satisfy a daily compulsion to write.
HISTORIC WATERFRONT, ST. MARYS, GA.
Send this info and the other info you posted on cellulosic biofuel to the JDA. As you pointed out, there is probably no county in the State that is as well suited for this as Camden.
Look at our local congressional candidates' platforms. Jack Kingston wants to grow corn and convert it. Who does that benefit? Bill Gillespie wants to support the UGA cellulosic initiative. ANy reason not to support Gillespie on this?

Bill Gullespie is the best candidate to hold this position. Jack Kingston has served in this position to long. In order to break up the corruption we must shorten the terms of career politicians. No one should be allowed to serve more than two terms in any position. Research shows when a person is allowed to exceed two terms their motives no longer serve the taxpayers.
Hopefully, the incoming CCBOC will either totally revamp the JDA or disband it.
I second this motion!!!! Maybe the editor of this blog can get Willis Keene to give us his view points on the JDA, water/sewer for the unincorporated areas and the economic development of Camden County.
This is a good forum for all of us to communicate with Commissioner-Elect Keene.

I appreciate the suggestion, but, at present, it would be a waste of time.
