Y'all might want to come to Monday evening's St. Marys City Council Meeting.
For openers, at 5:00 PM, there will be a "tax workshop." If you've lived here a while, a glance at the agenda will tell you that this is an incumbent staged event with a lot of posturing and political theater sure to be on display.

Then, at 5:45, the council votes on items to put on the "consent agenda>" That will be comprised of multiple regular agenda items that the mayor and council have deemed to be so trivial and so universally agreed upon that they can lump them all in to one omnibus vote, thereby avoiding discussion and saving time -and public scrutiny.
Then at 6:00 PM, there is the regular meeting. I'm sure that every Tom, Dick and Harry who is either a declared candidate or a rabid supporter of one will want to address the council on something. That should be entertaining. Here's the agenda:

Unless you are pathetically slow on the uptake, you should have already figured out which items will generate the most amusing political Kabuki theatre. See y'all there.
