Unknown said...: This is called Mothershipping, and is a common practice within the industry. Up The Creek, the local kayak company, has been working to put this together for almost a year now, but have to negotiate through a myriad of regulations to transport customers near Cumberland. Up The Creek was the first kayak company in Coastal Georgia/Florida to establish online ecommerce and an online reservation system. It runs childrens' day camps and even has a contract to manage youth camps for the Air Force. The company is considered the high end shop within the Jacksonville area and is known throughout the kayaking community.
