Oh, no they can engage in "environmental rabble rousing" and so on all they want, but OUTSIDE of government or government appointed agencies, boards, or commissions until such time as they have raised their right hand and sworn allegiance to the United States of America and become U.S.citizens.
We should get rid of the anti-God types too. This is a Christian country. If the atheists, humanists, pagans, Muslims and other God haters insist on living here, they should not be allowed to be in government where they can foist their sicko ideas off on the rest of us.
Sometimes you are better off with the dissidents you know than with those you don't know. Or at least check out the new dissidents before you appoint them. Stay tuned and learn.

I wholeheartedly agree with the latter part of your screed. That is to say that no government nor any official of any government should ever engage in promotion of or proselytizing for his particualr cosmology via his official position throuh any of the duties thereof.
However, insofar as the U.S. Constitution forbids ANY religious litmus test for holding poloiical office in ths country, all qualified, law-abiding candidtes for public office have a right to run and to serve if elected.
To me, voting for or against a candidate because of his or her religious beliefs or whatever cosmological view they choose to embrace is downright un-American and despicably bigoted.

And how about stridently anti-American, anti-capitalist, far left, foreigners?
Yes!! Silence them too!! Better yet, deport them!!
