Bill had his usual deputies and secretaries at the Horseshoe Cove fish fry last evening. Gave his usual speech and basically told the crowd while walking around that he was not going to be indicted per his lawyer. At least that is one of his statements that I overheard. I saw at least two of his deputies that are working against him and asked what they were there for. They said Edna had sent word to the deputies that the sheriff needed them to attend if they were available. Sheriff told a good friend that he was going to be in good shape after the election as he would have his commissioners in place with Carper, Rainer, and Charlene on the board. Bill is a dreamer. He also is telling that he needed people to move forward and don't worry about Berry as he has some things in the works for Berry. Not as big a crowd as you would expect, mostly employees and their family and a few die-hards. June 6, 2008 7:44 AM I wonder what kind of dirty trick the low down bastard has in store for Berry?
