The purpose of this blog is to provide the author, Jay Moreno, with an outlet to comment upon items of socio-political and socio-economic import in Camden County, Georgia and to generally satisfy a daily compulsion to write.
HISTORIC WATERFRONT, ST. MARYS, GA.
ummm, Mr. Berry, you forgot the $12,000.00 down payment on the USS Willie that was in the 06/07 audit so the toatl was just about $92,000.00 and the $12,000.00 paid to FLETC for the training of the 2 mates and the captain.
and while we are in my arena, don't forget the $10,000.00 per month in salaries, plus benefits, for the crew that the taxpayers of Camden County are paying.
What in the world is wrong with you folks. He did spend some of the money on something for the good of some one. He bought votes for it. He has been spreading some of it around. He didn't use all of it for illegal crap. May be most, but he did help a lot of churches, boxing club, deputies, Dr. Jenkins, etc. Not all of it was misappropriated. Alot, but not every penny. Most of the dollars but not the pennies.
"I'm sure there are things he did that if he had hindsight he wouldn't have done, but by the same token, he's done a lot of good with that money," Brown said. "He's made political enemies along the way, too, and those are the ones that are trying to bring him down."
No comment again from the lying hog farmer. He gets his paid spin doctor to try and make ham salad out of hog$hit.
How about 15 years of hindsight. All the records that have been viewed, and he damn sure did not want to release the records, show that he has used the money as his personal slush fund without regard to the hard working deputies nor the taxpayers of Camden County. Political enemies, my @ss, he is a crooked SOB and we need to get the vote out and show him the county line, without his crown vic, without a tank full of county gas and without his county card.
Vote for decency and someone that puts Camden County first - Vote for Tommy Gregory.
Noticed this deputy David Mills that you found out is Black Copter is really a low life. Attacking Stein and his family is really rank. I go to Stan's almost every week end and Stein and his family are there from time to time with their attorney friends and often with the crowd from the D.A.'s office. Never has then been any reason for Mills to say such garbage. I really am so sorry that this nice family has to be subjected to this type of lying. I don't know if this was the appropriate portion of your blog to respond to this out rage. I just felt I had to respond.
The last commenter is referring to the despicable coward David Mills' scurrilous attacks on Jim Stein and son Jay Stein over on the cesspool that is TOPIX Kingsland.
These baseless attacks of course meet with the full approval of the equally scurrilous liar, William E. Smith.
