The purpose of this blog is to provide the author, Jay Moreno, with an outlet to comment upon items of socio-political and socio-economic import in Camden County, Georgia and to generally satisfy a daily compulsion to write.
HISTORIC WATERFRONT, ST. MARYS, GA.
There are many people working with the Angel Food Ministries here in Camden who are strictly volunteer workers. They receive nothing monetarily for their hard work. So, if Wingo is getting that kind of money he certainly isn't passing it on to the people who are actually doing all the work here. I have helped with order taking myself and know many of the people who work hard for this organization. It has helped so many less fortunate people in this county and I sure hope that this kind of press does not hurt the efforts of these good people.
Most people are inherently good, but I don't care if they were giving out free gold on the street corner everyday for a week, some butthead, would figure out how to get more than his fair share! An organization of this magnatude, that was initially set up (or was it?), to help less fortunate people, has to be headed up by some one whose own selfish interests come first.

I thought that it sounded familiar. Is it sponsored locally by Agape Christian on Colerain?
It is not sponsored by Agape Church. Agape just lets Angel Food Ministries distribute the food each month in the gym at Agape.

I stand corrected: the activities of Angel Food Ministries are not sponsored by Agape Christian Church but merely facilitated.
