Funny, from one news sources I saw, he said he had been drinking and that caused his lack of judgement. So I drink, and go to porn. Or I just go to porn. Sad.
He is an adult, in a private room, by himself, not on school property; what's the problem? He didn't get caught with a Hooker. So he used a school Blackberry, is there a written plicy against it. He didn't share the information with anyone, except the nosey prude who discovered it! He didn't have any young girls (or old girls for that matter)in his room. I wonder how many school board members were engaged in some type of weird sex during the same time that he acessed an ADULT chat room, by himself. Are they just embarassed because it was made public, then fire that guy for breaking the information to the public. It's not like he was on the clock or anything! Sounds to me like somebody was just after his job!
Meanwhile, back at the Glynn middle and high schools, students are merrily texting nude photos of themselves to each other.
It does seem a little draconian.
But remember: in today's schools, a fingernail clipper is a deadly weapon; a cough drop is an illicit
drug. PC run amok.
This is just another incident as we have seen in recent years with those that we consider leaders or role models in our society:
Bill Clinton and Monica, Michael Phelps with the bong, various teachers dating their young students or in the case in Seattle marry their young student, preachers caught with their pants down and on and on...perhaps this has gone on since the beginning of time and we just were not aware without the media??? Or...is this a decline in our society? The sad thing is we are losing our shock value when these news stories come out.
I feel there is more to it than just using the blackberry to access porn. Why do think he didn't resign after he said he was? there is more to come out of this one.
