It is so clear that this is a project to develope a bunch of developers and is being promoted by them through their council lackies. I don't understand not realizing this is a venture for them to be footed by the tax payers. I realize Jay things Hase can do no wrong, and that is right, but she is just promoting this for others.
What is all the fuss about? It is just a scheme for Sea Island developers that is at the expense of the tax payers. Of course the City Council four don't see tax dollars coming from the governement as being a cost to the City. Nor do they see directing City Manager and others to pursue this venture as costing the tax payers. Nor do they see a fly in to Washington for Hase and Deloghy to pursue the air port scheme as a cost to the City. Boy are we a bunch of dumb asses or what?
Where is the City Attorney? Should this person inform the Council that they are violating the referendum by using City employees to accomplish this task for Sea Island. I forgot the Attorney is also a full time employee of the Council. Surely the attorney will not represent the best interest of the taxpayers on this one.
Why is every one so up in air about council members flying to Washington to talk about getting 3.5 mil for an airport that will accomodate a bunch of developers? This is common practice with that bunch. They just get a personal agenda and off the 4 of the go. You act like they should be more concerned about the tax abuse and budget problems the City has. Hell you act like they are going to be responsible and do the right thing. You folks need to get a life. Just bend over and get it over with.

Very accurate Councilman Bird.
This is a stimulus plan for Sea Island. I know Deborah Hase and Charlie Smith are already licking their chops.
Jay,
Ths papers have evidently changed their format. The line does not go directly to the story anymore. Thought you might like to know.
