Remember the parent that spoke about her child that had a problem dealing with groups? What was this child subjected to to make her this way? Maybe she needs a private school. Public schools are not for special needs
No, Joe, actually, they are, by federal law. One thing I love about the typical TOPIX poster is that they never let not knowing what in the hell they're talking about slow them down.

I am the parent who has the daughter you are refering to. I chose to not continue to banter with the obviously ignorant ones on topix. I did not get into the fact that it is federal law to help all students because i did not think it was worth the effort. I stand by my comment about the need for a graduation specialist. He helps all students achieve the goal of graduation. I was told today that the attendance percentage so far this year at CCHS is over 95% and the dropout rate is almost nonexistent. This says a lot about the quality program. Oh, and by the way I am a public figure.
A wise decision.
That's great news about CCHS!
Would you happen to know what the graduation rate is?
school boards are mandated by 94-142 a federal law which requires the educators to design a Indivual education program for all youngsters up to the age of 21. cost is not to be considered a factor.
Yes, I know. And in the IEP must see to it that the child is educated in the least restrictive and most inclusive millieu possible, consistent with the child's needs and abilities.
