The purpose of this blog is to provide the author, Jay Moreno, with an outlet to comment upon items of socio-political and socio-economic import in Camden County, Georgia and to generally satisfy a daily compulsion to write.

Tyhat was probably something that would have happened anyway.
Let's give him some time. I've met the fellow. My initial impression is that he can easily fill all of the shoes ever owned by his two predecessors put together.
But Jay, the question is will the JDA Board allow him to wear them.
Remember, now, we have a new Director, the people pulling the strings remain the same. Heavily intertwined with Camden Partnership and Camden Action Group. Two of the most deviant groups in the County.
I share that same exact concern. I think the present baord means well, but well meaning with two utterly inept JDA directors in the 13.5 years I've been here has resulted in millions peed away. I think this guy might be the right guy.
By the time I'm on the county commission in 2011, if nothing impressive has happened by then, you can bet I'll be working on getting a new JDA board from top to bottom.

Various Navy Leadership and Management schools. Disabled, and in a wheelchair since April, 2004, A/C Guillain-Barre syndrome. Eclectic interests.

Yippy the our new JDA Director announce a new company is coming that will provide FIVE jobs. Take that Appling County.
