The County Manager stood up to the Sheriff and told him he could'nt afford to hire anymore right now. The Sheriff then went and convinced all the other Constitutional Officers that they needed to get rid of the County Manager so that they could hire who they dam well please.

Could you imagine a hiring freeze being put on family members/friends of elected officials in Camden County; June 7, 2009 at 8:41 PM

My cut line was more of a dig at those red-necked, Luddite, Camden GOBs who are critical of Mr. Howard per se and his salary, in particular. Remember, our GOB commission has dispatched a couple of county managers for trying to do their jobs as well.; June 8, 2009 at 8:30 AM
