Ironic, cynical babblings of a morally bankrupt, lame duck fool.

"Camden County Board of Commissioners Chairman Preston Rhodes' reckless indifference is placing an undue burden upon the taxpayers of Camden County and endangering the lives of the very ones sworn to serve and protect us," Smith said in a written statement. "Rhodes cannot rise above the political fray and do what is right. His actions demonstrate all to clearly that furthering his personal vendetta against Sheriff Smith is more important than the pressing financial difficulties facing the county." http://www.tribune-georgian.com/articles/2008/10/01/news/top_stories/1topstory10.1.txt http://www.tribune-georgian.com/articles/2008/10/01/opinion/1opinion10.1.txt Amen, T&G!

For the reader who commented on a spat in the harem, I've tried 4 times to post it and it just will not post. Perhaps a glitch at Google. I've stil got it. I'll try later.

It is hard to believe that BTW is pointing a finger at anyone. That sorry excuse for a law officer has almost bankrupt the sheriff's office by using money (earmarked for sheriff's office materials) for his own personal GREED. I will personally be glad when January 1 gets here. After he wrote approximately 700 yes 700 checks to inmates for $50 a clip, how can he hold his head up and face the people?

Let's see, BTW wants the county to sign off on the feds paperwork so that he piss away another $400,000.00 in the next 90 days. Golly, I wonder why Rhodes has a problem with that.

I wonder if signing it any time in 2008 will do to release the funds. If so, Rhodes should sign it in time to have FedEx deliver it to the feds NLT 10:00 AM on 30 December. The funds would be released to Sheriff Gregory in early January.

There is a time limit attacted to the funds. I don't know the exp date of these funds but if they drag their feet too long it'll be state money. GSP will get four new cars plus plenty of cash to purchase equipment or in reality Atlanta knuckleheads will get new office furniture.

Do the math Jay

400,000 + 4 cars = $667,000

unless its changed. rules state that $ will be devided btween the depts that helped in it and cars go to gsp at their choice of where they go.
that was many years back

Wah Wah Wah...Seems like the only time anyone can find Bill Smith to make a comment about anything is when he can't have something he wants!! He's having a tantrum. They ought to bust his ass and make him shut his mouth!!!
