The truth about the county employee health plan versus the Kingfish take on it.
As you can see from the figures, even the proposed new premiums for Camden County employees are a real bargain. $161.28 per month for full familiy coverage is about 25 to 30 % of what a comparable plan in the private sector costs today. And yet, here is Kingfish Feller's take on this modest increase.

it is a great county. no wage increase for staff (not administrators) however, following the obama, jm and mgrs philosophy give the workers a 100,000.00 pay cut. this way they are contributing to the community by paying more for their health insurance. is it important for the lowest paid workers to sacrifice? obama and jm would say so.
Voters of District 4: Aren't you glad that this paranoid, hateful, vindictive, shamelessly pandering, dottering old fool will not still have a vote on the budget tomorrow night? Let's make sure that he never does again! That's the last you will hear of the old nut on this blog.

If the employee elects for the FULL coverage, doesn't that cost the county more. That's what it looks like to me.
Who would pick the full for just $1.32 more?
I'm not sure I follow you. Did you perhaps mean to ask "Who would NOT pick the full for just $1.32 more."
By "full, that means not only medical coverage for the whole family but dental as well. Does that make sense now?
