SMPD / GBI raid Stan Smith's 27 acre "farm" on the Satilla.

Of course, they just wanted to go on a nice fall field trip and perhaps pick some pumpkins. I mean, after all, there are no suspects.

In today's edition of the Tribune and Georgian, which broke the story, Chief Hatch had this to say:

While investigators
are moving forward
on the case with a list of
individuals to be questioned,
Hatch said, there are still interviews
to be conducted.

“Not everyone named in
the case has been contacted.

The amount of attention it
has gotten has made it very
difficult to conduct a sound
investigation,” he said.

I, for one, am curious as to how and why that is the case. Perhaps once the coming arrests have been made, the T&G might get the chief to explain that assertion retroactively.

The paper didn't break anything. Other media had the story including the raid on the farm before they did. All their article is a rehash. Of course you'll defend them since your good friend Jill is the HBIC.

Really? What media was that? Can you give me a link?

Hatch has been in this County for how long? Yet he is just now seeing how deep the crap river runs in the political world of this County. His tone of amazement and disbelief is what I think is so sad whith this Chief of Police. He would not know the truth if it hit him in the head.

Hopefully they took pictures to turn over to the tax ass' office so they can charge him the correct amount of taxes on his new house.

You are exactly right, and they will not go out of their way to find the truth. ie. me asking to prove myself not guilty and prove that the cops did not do their job, by taking a simple voice stress test.

Instead it will cost the county and city thousands of dolloars to go to court and not one has asked me for my side and I hold the evidence in my cell phone. Recordings speak very loudly in court.

I would like to know where they get their info, cause the farm is a hell of alot bigger than that.

I said 27 acres because that is what the county property record showed when I checked it the other day. It seemed bigger than that to me too.

By the way, Stan is a virtuoso on a track hoe and pretty damned good on all other heavy equipment as well. No telling what has been quickly buried deep.

Jay you are the scum of the earth, no one has been convicted of anything, and you are steady starting sh!!t. You should sit back and keep your lard a$$ mouth shut.

I think it's actually 300+ acres.

That could be right. Perhaps they've subdivided the property and the house is on a 27 acre parcel.
