Case closed! The election results stand!

Click on image to enlarge. Now kindly get over it and let's move on! P.S.: Good job, Gwen! I figured as much. And now, Kingfish Feller weighs in (stupidly, of course). sandy feller Saint Marys, GA Reply » Report Abuse Judge it! #61 1 hr ago Budda should read the entire letter from attny gen. It leaves a loop hole. Whether Mr. Stein goes forward is his call. I haven't heard anything re ACLU or NAACP. Mr. Stein would know more. Ah, but I did, you black-hearted, dottering, old fool! Unlike you, I had the innate intelligence and the hard-earned college education to immediately realize that the caveat which you see as a loophole is boiler plate language in ALL such approvals from the Civil Rights Divison of the federal DOJ and does not vitiate the validity of the approval one iota. So much for your vaunted "common sense" and vast political experience. By the way, Bozo, it's spelled "Buddha."

Jay,

Wouldn't it actually be "Buddha"?

Interesting you have a copy of documents when request formally submitted to the city from an attorney has not been honored. How much per hour did you pay for the research? By the way the Georgia statue requires the city attorney to submit for approval not the city clerk.

You will probably not answer this but I'm wondering what came between you and Feller? I remember a year or two ago you guys were on a first name basis and you even helped him by sitting at one of the poling places.

Just wondering........

Obviously, the duty was delegated to the city clerk. I beleive that Terry was paid by the hour those days - i.e., he was not a city emnployee and not on retainer. It was cheaper to have then City Clerk Gwen Mungin do it - and, obviously, she did.

As to my having it first, what can I tell you. Not all ace reporters draw a pay check for it! :-)

Yes, I'll be glad to tell you what "came between" me and Sandy Feller. Yes,I voted for Feller for county commission. I remember quite distinctly that on the day of the election, as I was leaving the polling place at Mary Lee Clark, I stopped, leaned out the window, and said to Sandy, in all seriousness, "Well, I either just helped elect another unrecognized genius or a complete nut case. Don't disappoint me." My postulated dichotomy was obviosuly prescient, though I did not realize it for a while after that.

I was highly pissed and felt bad for Sandy when someone put homosexual porn on his blog, then tipped off Steve Berry, who immediately contacted the press. To this day, I think it was a dirty thing for Berry to do. However, I can now appreciate how he might have been moved to do so.

Sandy used to call me at home every few weeks to discuss local politics and matters under discussion on the county commission. Towards the end of the conversation, he would always steer the conversation to Steve Berry and how Berry was the nidus of all evil in Camden County politics. The fact was that I had by then come to realize that at that time (the Terrible Troika was still firmly in control) Berry was far and away the most intellectually gifted, legally competent, and most often proponent of the right positions on the county commission. Ergo, I just let Feller ramble on without comment.

There finally came a point when he realized that I did not share his increasingly serious paranoia( and I use that term in the most serious clinical, sense of the word and not as a casual perjorative casual perjorative)where Berry was concerned, he stopped calling.

Later, when I, in the coure of reporting on county commission meetings, praised Berry's actions on ovccassions, that sent him over the edge.

Once Mr. Feller comes to the conclusion that you have seen the fraud behind the curtain and realize thatr he is not the populist wizard and defender of the common man he plays at, he not only has no further use for you but will attack you viciously at any opportunity. Anyone who has followed his vitriol on TOPIX will know exactly what I'm speaking of.
So far, I've not found anything so low he will not stoop to it, including religious bigotry.

It is a pitty that he continues to have so many people completely fooled. However, the evidence is clear that more and more people are catching on to his true, black-hearted, negativistic, obstructionist nature.

No, it wouldn't. It would be exactly what I wrote that it was. If that was an attempt at humor, don't give up your day job.

Actually, Pittsoff, some of your stuff is really quite funny, but not that one.

Jay, after reading your response about Mr. Feller, it really sounds like you are talking about yourself also.
Just food for thought!

Jay Moreno said...

That is an utterly silly statement but then the reason for your question was to get a set up to make it, right?

RE: Bhudda vs. Buddha.

I stand corrected. When you search Bhudda, it pops up as being the name of the Bhudda, but then refers you to another page where it turns out that the original and traditional spelling is indeed, "Buddha." At least I knew there was an "h" in there somewhere.

Jay

I'm the one who originally asked the question about you and Feller. I thank you very much for your answer. And no, I didn't set the question up for someone to make a smart ass comment.

Jay Moreno said...

I appreciate that and thanks for the question. The answer would have been fairly obvious for thsoe who have followed his vicious ad hominem attacks on me on TOPIX, Kingsland but this was a good opportunity to explain to others.

While I'm at it, the reason I call him Kingfish is after the corrupt populist, Kingfish Huey Long.

I call him the consummate vote whore because I have watched him purport to espouse the pet causes of and make promises to so many disparate groups that the conclusion that he is ,in fact,a totally unprincipaled vote whore is inescapable.

Jay,

It seems to me that you are saying that the major disagreement between you and Sandy is your divergent opinions of Steve Berry. I don't agree completely with either your view or Sandy's. While Steve is intelligent and quite often right, he is also often wrong and can be a genuine pain in the rear.

As to Sandy being paranoid and vicious, truly, you have him beat by a country mile.

Jay Moreno said...

Speaking of opinions, what, then, is your opinion of Fellers obsession (real or feigned) with fomenting class warfare locally, especially where Osprey Cove residents are concerned?

Pittsoff said...

My previous post wasn't an attempt at humor or anything against you Jay. Just thought I noticed a typo. Sorry if it was misconstrued.

My mistake. Thanks for catching it.
