After the scarecrow gambit, the old ghost scam was sure to follow.

I see in today's T&G where the Downtown Merchants have finally sunk to the level of ginning up the old haunted historic building scam. They are using - where else - Orange Hall, the "Jim Walter Home" of southern "mansions." Anyone care to guess what they will try next to lure tourists off of I-95? Don't dismiss even your wildest ideas as too improbable. I hear the ghost of Ed Wassman was spotted in the DDA building. The ghost of Lila McDill sometimes frolics in the fountain of the Gilman Waterfront Park.

Yeah, soon as I check to see if the T&G ever did get around to publishing theior on-line version today. Around 11:30, they had not yet.

Well, they've posted it, but the article you reference did not make the cut for the on-line edition.

There isn't ONE profitable JDA or DDA in Camden County.

On another note, Jay pay attention Charlene Sears may take a page out of McCains book against you. I cannot debate because I hear the JDA is bringing a concrete plant to Camden county. (wink, wink)

That she has already illegaly run every conceivable background check against me and all of her and her Big Daddy's political enemies is a given - right, Rick?

Sorry - the McCain / concrete plant thing went right over my head.
