jay,i would bet that you take great care of your new dog/puppy. this could be why pitbulls get a bad wrap.people not loving them enough.good luck with yours they are great friends. seapro
Tyhat is the standard defense of the breed - that the dogs go bad because of they way they are trained, or not trained, or abused. That may well be the case, but consider this: given that statistically, virtually every other breed of dog is likely to have an uncaring or abusive owner, why is it that we rarely hear of breeds other than pit bulls even attacking people, much less killing them. On top of that, there are cases every year where a pit bull inexplicably turrns on a perfectly caring owner of long standing for no reason.
All things considered, I think it is a man-made breed man would do well to extinguish.
if you check the dobies and chows that bite more people that see dr. its just the fact the pits when they attack they do to kill. and all owners say they did nothing but we dont know. i have 2 boxers and one will bite strangers unless im here. the other will lick you to death. its just good to have them. sp
