Well, let's see....

I was just assured by a Thuggie that if I were to run for the District 4 county commission seat, I would "not stand a snowball's chance in hell" and that it "would be great comedy." I think that a poll on my running may be just the ticket to get my hit numbers back up from their post-election slump. I'll have one up shortly.

I think you should start talking more about what is going on at the County level. If you are going to be a good steward (and we will be able to tell based on what you write) then I say you will be a vast improvement to the County Commission.

But on the other hand, if your purpose is to rubber stamp everything that Steve Berry does, I would say save you time/effort.

Let me translate that for you, folks.

We Thuggies and Sears supporters are dying to attack you at the earliest opportunity. Would you kindly be so stupid as to start taking positions on county matters a full year early to facilitate our attacks?

Additionally, because you supported Berry over BTW's candidate, Carper, we think we may see an opening to paint you as Steve Berry's puppet, as we are desperately trying to do to Tommy Gregory.

Nice try, Thuggie, but you are going to have to get up a lot earlier in the morning than that.

I am sorry that you interpreted my comments as a thuggie attack. That was not the intent at ALL!

I believe you to be an above average individual. I have tested this depth with you in reference to County/City issues on numerous occassions. Not only did you prove your intellect, you also proved in my opinion that you are far superior to the likes of what we have in elected positions now.

Saying all that, I would like to say once again. If you are to present the independent thoughts you posses now, I will most certainly vote for you.

District 4 Voter

P.S. in reference to the issues... The only reason I made reference to that is because of what is printed in the paper. Knowledgeable people are talking about how the County advertised one millage rate, then tried to vote in a higher millage rate. Only to follow with making up the difference for the (Commercial Business Owners) out of the contingency fund.

When I first heard of this I posted on your blog. You responded but accused me of being Charlene.

Before that I heard about another situation brewing in Kingsland. I posted on your blog and again you found the answer and reported it to all of us.

Sorry to be so long winded, but I felt this was necessary. By the way, I have never voted for Charlene Sears. I saw her at a campaign event once, I asked her what was her platform, she looked like a deer caught in headlights. I knew then I could never vote for such a person. I pride myself on voting for the the most factual, intelligent candidate. I know thats not the norm around here, but that is how my family votes.

Thank you for your clarification.

I'm sure that after my last attempt at public office and cosequential politically motivated false arrest, I'm a little gun shy. I'll work on that.
