Latest on the airport front.

Per the T&G hard copy coverage, I'm sorry I missed last Monday's Lilliput City Council performance. It seems that Hase, Trader, Deloughey, and Weaver voted to request that the Georgia State Ethics Commission issue a ruling on Council Greg E.F. Bird's repeated conflict of interest votes on matters relating to the airport. It's about time! The same four also voted not to renew the management contract with the St. Marys Airport Authority until such time as their pending lawsuit against the city is resolved or withdrawn. Y'all will recall that I predicted that move some months ago. The T&G reporter failed to report WHEN the management contract expires.
