A dozen jail lawsuits? How can this be when Thuggies have assured us that none exist?

Jay, Jay, Jay. Let me speak real slow so that even you can understand. These suits are based on decisions made be employees and are the result of poor management. When you instruct your employees to randomly pour chemicals into a drain, you had better be prepared to clean up the you know what. The overcrowding issue was brought forward and added to the suit for the simple fact that Tommy has played it up so hard in the media that the attorney ( a good one at that) decided she would add it in hopes of keeping it from being dismissed. Which it sorely will. So you guys that are screaming about saving tax monies and prisoner rights keep on screaming. I promise two things, we will never have a suit against us that will be winable, and we will surely waste a bunch of money on a poor planned and understaffed jail expansion. I have practiced law in Georgia for over 40 years and have seen these all come and go. If you can't see the power play going on here, I feel sorry for your hopes at being a Commissioner of my district.

So let me get this straight: the employees decided to increase the jail population to the extent that three inmates are sleeping in cells designed for two with the third man sleeping on the floor with his head just beneath the toilet so that the other two may well pe on his head in the middle of the night?

For an atorney of your experience, you are rather remarkably inarticulate. By "Which is sorely will," I assume you meant "surely will." When you ambiguously state that "I promise two things, (sic, he should have used a colon)we will never have a suit against us that will be winable (sic, he meant "winnable"), and we will surely waste a bunch of money on a poor (sic, he meant "poorly") planned and understaffed jail expansion," that you meant winable from the plaintiff's perspective but then who can be sure.

I can see why you would not want to use your real name, however, as a public service, could you at least warn aspiring law students about which law school actually granted you a law degree.

Oh, and thanks for going so slowly.

And that would be Berry at his best!

ha ha ha ha, I guess you're right Jay, this old dog never had the time as you to practice sitting around on a computer. While you surely took me to task on my communication skills, I can assure you that my legal skills far outweigh yours. I beleive if you would take the time to read the documents, you woul dsee these are hardly winnable lawsuits. But I know that is not the game you internet guys play so I will bid you farewell. By the way, most young law students can do as I did and drive down Broad St and they will throw you a degree out from the Arches. Its a damn shame my momma and daddy couldn't see fit to send me to a real law school. Oh well, time to go bait a hook and catch my dinner.

No, Berry does not live in my district. Moreover, do you really think that a real attorney who is a world-wide best selling author could have written that?
