Aunt B's traffic light.

I guess y'all read in the T&G where Aunt's B's patrons will soon be able to get back out onto Kings Bay Road with the help of a traffic light. Word is that the DOT approved that after the intersection qualified under their "six dead citizens or one wrecked county commissioner, whichever comes first" rule.

Instead of putting up more red lights the people need to learn how to drive. You look both ways before pulling out into traffic. The most important way to look is in the direction that the traffic will be coming from just before you pull out.

I am most certain Commissioner Berry has been on a letter writing campaign. I must say he is pretty good. That would have taken any other elected official at least TWO years.

Indded: Commissioner Berry is a most intelligent and capable fellow. Unfortunately, now that he is getting the Lone Ranger treatment from the other four who apparently fear a Thuggie backlash at the polls if they vote with him - no matter how obviously superior and correct his position is - (for instance, on the liquor license fee issue), we are losing any advantage of his serving on the commission.

While I fault Steve Berry for that outrageous accusation that Sandy Feller had deliberatgely put homosexual porn on his web site (it was obviously placed there by a low down, dirty, computer-savy political enenmy), other than that I have no problem woth his performance as a country commissioner. I wish we had at least two more like him in terms of intellectual capacity, the willingness to serve, ansd the willingness to tell it like it is, even if it rocks the boat. That opportunity will present itself next year.

At least one of the current Commissioner who is up for re-election isn't concern about being on the right side of ANY issue. I hear she has been assured as long as she plays footsie with Rainer the vote will likely favor her once the counting is complete.

wink, wink

I am surprised that Aunt B's is getting a stop light before Publix on Hwy 40...I feel like I take my life in my hands everytime I try to make a left turn to head East when leaving Publix!

Mr. Berry maybe you could add Publix to your letter writing campaign :)
