Superior Court judges' pay back on the agenda?

Just moments ago, I had a call from someone who had heard that the CCBOC not only put the county supplemental to the Superior Court judges' pay back on the agenda at last night's meeting, but may well have passed it. This is as yet third hand and unconfirmed. Were any of my readers there last night and able to confirm or deny this?

If they pay the Judges more money during this obvious depression, they should be run out of town on a rail along with the Judges who would have the audacity to ask for a raise right now. What about the underpaid employees of the County who are not going to get a raise because of the condition of the economy? Yes, lets give these sorry Judges exactly what they want or Demanda will pitch one of her fits. She could care less about anyone as long as she gets what she wants. Might as well give Judge Harrison his $41,000. in new decor while they are at it. They don't have any better sense than to spend $20,000. to redo a table. I want to see the bids on that job. I would have done it for $19,000. and made quite a profit. Yep, the voters of this County need to take a good look at who they put back in office last year because they are going to be paying dearly for their actions.

It might not be so bad, if they would do their jobs. They let more bad guys go than they put away. Demanda would rather send the drug dealers to camp than to jail. Personally, I don't see where her little druggie bootcamp is working at allanyway. We have more dope dealers than ever right now.

Anonymous you are accurate in your statements but I have come to the conclusion that this is what the people of Camden County like. Thats why they continue to re-elect these morons.

There was probably a directive issued either you give us the raise or we will not hear any cases other than abuse.

The word is the judges felt if the County Manager could spend the exorbitant amounts he has spent on his lavish office (installing a personal bathroom, etc), why embarass Judge Harrison.

So, if this did occur I am sure that is why

If they grant this raise maybe it is time for the taxpayers to do a recall on the commissioners. The $20,000 for the table still pisses me off when employees are not getting any raises or have not received any for several years.

It was not even discussed last night at the meeting. Your mole was wrong.

No, this did not come from "Main Mole". This came from a previously highly reliable source who told me right up front that he was getting it third hand. That's whty I asked if any readers had beeen there. To the reader who says it was not even brought up, were you there?

Hey Jay, Main Mole here. This issue did not come up and was not on the agenda. I was there. A real short meeting that started at 6:00 and was over at 6:35. Nothing big was brought up. See ya soon.

There you have it. The real Main Mole has spoken. My other source - who has never led me astray before - said at the outset that he was not sure on this one - which is why I made it clear that I was not either and asked for confirmation or refutation from a reliable witness. Thanks, MM.

That said, I would not be at all surprised if we have not heard the last of this issue.
