DA Stephen Kelley and associates in town.

Well, it's 4:20 and I just got back to the house from a trip out that started with lunch at Aunt B's around 12:30 today. Directly ahead of me in line was "our" state district attorney, Stephen Kelley. Kelley had a leisurely lunch with 9 associates at one long table in the middle room. One was a professionally dressed female whom I'm fairly certain was an attorney - maybe an assistant D.A. One of the guys was in a dark business suit and also had attorney written all over him. The other seven males all had on at least $125 wool blend trousers, freshly laundered pima cotton dress shirts, $50.00 ties, $250.00 shoes, gold shields at the waist and were packing high carry, medium frame, semi-automatic pistols. All could have been featured in Men's Health Magazine. Put simply, they were definitely not from around here. Looked more like Hotlantans to me. By contrast, one well larded CCSO deputy and what appeared to be a detective (short, stocky, light blue golf shirt, medium frame semi-auto carried at small of back) were sitting out in the main dining area. It struck me as odd because you very rarely see uniformed CCSO people eating at Aunt B's unless BTW is picking up the tab with seized asset funds. They were seated so that the detective was able have a good view of who all come through the serving line. Forward observers for BTW? On his own behalf, or for Cisco? Who knows? I'm guessing that team did not drive down here from Brunswick just for the lunch. Anyone heard anything?

Know why you don't see uniformed Deputies eating at Aunt B's? Here are a few of the reasons.
WE (yes, I said we because I am one) don't get a "lunch break. Most of the time, if we get to eat at all, we must go through a drive thru and eat in the car on the way to the next call.
Most of us can't afford to eat there. It is quite expensive and the county commission has not approved raises in quite a long time. And yes, the CC must approve the across the board raises. Although, a while back, one of local churches gave the jail officers a gift certificate to Aunt B.'s for all of the hard work that they do. And, trust me, they do work hard.
The Investigators rarly get to slow down enough to sit down and either so the Investigator that you "saw", although you description does not sound fimilar, was probably taking a much rest along with his lunch.
You will need the Deputies of the Sheriff's Office one day Mr. Moreno and, just to let you know, we will be there to help you in any way that we can.

Officer, if your boss was a decent, law abiding, ethical sheriff, I would say good on that church. However, given the true nature of your boss, my first question - and trust me, I'm not alone - is how many thousands of dollars did that church get unlawfully before and /or after that from the federal seized asset funds at your boss' unlawful direction?

As to y'all being there to help me in my hour of need, I'm sure that you will, insofar as that is your sworn duty and what we pay you to do, but thanks in advance anyway.

I've just been informed by a reliable source that the 10 man entourage from the D A's office in Aunt B's today was the task force working on the Cisco gas ripoff AND a possible Bill Smith connection to the same case.

Stay tuned.

This is hilarious "By contrast, one well larded CCSO deputy". Your blog is very entertaining and factual. Two very important traits in blogging. Again thanks for the scoop on Kelley, keep us posted.

To the Sheriff Office employee: Has anyone seen L.J. Williams, does he still work for the CCSO. Tell him Bill has papers to serve him. Everyone thinks the employees are a joke based on the performance of their leader.

In the midst of everything else surrounding your leader why would he add L.J's problems to his. I am hearing rumors in the community as to the TRUE relationship of your leader and L.J. Which has caused your office difficulty in locating L.J.

The group you are speaking of was the patrol commander and his assistant. The large group was Steve Kelley, and wonderful for justice man, who seeks the truth and a great attorney. With him was the GBI, AND FBI, who was not here working on the Cisco or Bill Smith case. But I did see you Jay strolling around in your wheel chair. Being nosey, which I was laughing when you rode by the Untouchables table. But I do miss you on the topix web site, and I think it was crap they kicked you off. Jay the only problem I have with you is you some times stretch the truth. Just like you seeing all the State and FED guys,, you assume they are here for Bill or Fairley,, I am sure though Bill is wondering why they were here. But I really like your new blog, but keep it open to honest communication. And this first response that they do not have enough money to eat at aunt b's makes me laugh. Have you seen the job market lately son, you are lucky to even have a job. Look at how many dollars have been waisted by your boss. You have no one to blame but Willy. Also do not act like you are that busy because you are not. You guys have alot of waisted time and alot of trimming that needs to be done at the top. We can only hope that Tommy is going to repair the damage done to that office. Or Rich Gamble. We can only pray someone goes in there and makes that an ethical office, and gets rid of the unethical ways. It is time for a change.

What you call "being nosey," I call being proactively informed.

Incidentally, if you furtively watch me long enough, you will see that I always exit Aunt b's via the door in the middle room.

In the front room, I have to take a circumlocuitous route like a damned pin ball to get to the exit door. The middle room provideds an unobstructed straight shot.

By "The group you are speaking of was the patrol commander and his assistant.," I take it that you mean the "well larded CCSO deputy" and the guy with him with the pale blue Charlene shirt and a pistol worn at the base of his spine - the one that the depuuty who commented above said did not sound familiar at all, in yet another half assed Thuggie attempt to impugn my veracity?

Keep typing away, both of you. You are showing how much you really don't know, although you think that you know so much. Have a nice day.

Yes, I understand that the depth of my ignorance of what's up is what keeps a lot of neck veins bulging out over in the CCSO executive suites.

Believe what you want to. Your ignorance is obvious to a few.

I am not a smart man, but if something is obvious, then would not
a whole bunch of folks see it?

Jay Moreno said...

Yes, Forrest, one would think so.

Nice catch.

Either the remaining choose not to see it or are too ignorant to see it.

I wasn't there, but the damn good eyes on observation you gave of the Larded Deputy, had to have been David dugalass, and Jason seeweed, was the one with the chareline shirt with his hoster midback, left handed. Very good description. These 2 Gents are very good troopers, its a shame they have to work for one of the biggest crooks in Camdem co.

Unfortunately, even the "too ignorant to see it" can still vote.

Yes, now that you mention it, that was indeed a left-hand-draw holster.
