But who will rid us of Rainer?

Here is a link to the county district map. http://www.co.camden.ga.us/DocumentView.asp?DID=254 Rainer nominally represents the citizens of District 5 (darker green). He, in fact, exclusively represents the financial interests of native good ol' boys all over the county - including our corrupt, hereditary sheriff. Is there not one serious, qualified candidate in District 5 up to the challenge? Suggestions?

Lets get Mary "PEPI" Haddock to run for this seat. She lives in Browntown. She would be a gerat commissioner. She worked for the County Commissioners for YEARS as Finance Director and was GREAT AT HER JOB.

Her name rings a bell. Was she the lady who was sacrificed as a scapegoat by the Terrible Troika when then county was in the red?

Did she sue the county and win, or am I confusing her with someone else?

Yes, you are right, she did sue and won and then they took it to the Georgia Supreme Court and they overturned the Judges decision. But she felt that she won anyway since the Ga. Supreme Court very rarely rules against a County Government.

Isn't the probate judge and magistrate judge also up for re-election? seems that those positions keep getting skipped in the paper and on the radio.
