GTU's Mark Woods: "Gasoline and good ol'boys"

"In case you missed it, Sheriff's Capt. Wesley Walker testified under immunity during a civil racketeering hearing that he had been told about the payoffs by a Cisco Travel Plaza employee. He said he didn't tell anyone. He gave a good reason. Well, good if you're trying to add to the perception of an incestuous, good ol' boy network running the county." Mark Woods has nailed it. He has pretty well summed up the view of Camden that is seen by the rest of the "outside" world - and deservedly so. This is a must read for all decent Camdenians. Thuggies need not bother. http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/041808/woo_269540958.shtml

The level of corruption in the county with Smith as sheriff is just unbelievable. The hog farmer must go.

It is totally amazing that 13 deputies get fired by this man for absolutely nothing. Yet Walker admits in open court that he committed a crime and violated his oath of office and not only does he still have a job, we are paying him not to come to work. The sad part is that there are those that would vote Bill Smith back into office for another 4 years despite his criminal behavior. Unbelievable.
