Former St. Marys Mayor Ward Hernandez has died.
Sorry, I almost forgot that Sidney Howell made that announcement at the city council meeting last night. I believe he said that he had died earlier in the day. Was he the mayor immediately before Jerry Brandon?

By the way, I'm curious: did Jerry Brandon have any opposition the first time he was elected mayor?
Not sure if he had opposition or not. But Ward didn't run again the year Brandon won.
