89 new Georgia laws take effect July 1st.

The first new law under "Education" should be of particular interest in Camden County. http://www.jacksonville.com/news/georgia/2009-06-28/story/georgias_89_new_laws_take_effect_wednesday

Does this mean that people from Charlton can start coming over here, or just transfers within our own system?

Surely, it will be limitied to children of Camden County residents. In light of the recent changes in zones, I would be very surprised if the school board did not have advance warning of this coming change and acted to get their ducks in a row before word of it got out - much les before the effective date.

I know of people from Charlton who work at the hospital and they are going to bring their children here.

We don't mine here in Camden. We also provide employment opportunities for people from outside, Express Scripts.

If you know people who reside in Charlton who are enrolling their kids who also live with them in Charlton in Camden schools, then you know liars and criminals. they are undoubtedly falsly attesting that their children live - probably with relatives - in Camden. They are riping off camden taxpayers - including you, but you apparently are not sufficiently intelligent or aware to realize that.

In your second paragraph, wherw you typed "mine," I will proceed on the assumption that you meant "mind." Your statement seems to equate the two situations - legally working in another county and sending your kids to school in another county illegally. Clearly, they are not even remotely close to being moral or legal equivalents.
